WELCOME TO NBOL AT AJOU!
Our research goal is to break down the boundaries between physics and biology. Nanoscale properties of biological materials become more and more important to understand and control biological phenomena. We believe that our expertises, studies for the interaction of quanta and biological materials in nanoscale, provide useful and unprecedented ways to understand the nano-bio interface.
Positions are open for graduate students. If interested, contact prof. S. Kim with a brief description of interests and CV.

Dr. Kyungtaek Min now becomes an assistant professor at the Korea Polytechnic University.
Sookyoung Kim received the best student paper award in the CLEO PR 2017.
Muhammad Umar has been awarded the best paper award in the KPS Spring Meeting 2017.
We report a triboelectric nanogenerator to harvest energy from biomechanical motions. Using silk protein, we can make the nanogenerator activating from the skin-contact and having high efficiency. This device would be useful for energy sources in healthcare devices.
